For over 30 years Joe Thomas has made a living with a rod and reel. As a BASS Elite Series and FLW Tour pro, Thomas competed at the highest level of the sport of professional bass angling. Today, you'll still find Joe Thomas fishing on "Stihl's Reel in the Outdoors" on Outdoor Channel every Friday morning at 8:30am, Saturday at 1:30pm and again Sunday morning at 6:30am.
From the Amazon to Alaska, Thomas travels to incredible destinations to discover the people and places that make fishing a uniquely American pursuit.
In addition to "Stihl's Reel in the Outdoors", Joe Thomas is also the host of "Pelican's Ultimate Match Fishing" on Outdoor Channel. Each episode features two of the top professional bass anglers in the world competing head-to-head in a single elimination bracketed tournament. The catch? The boat is divided in half right down the middle and the anglers cannot cast beyond or cross the dividing line. If they do, referee Mark Randolph is always at the ready to call a penalty!
And that's not all. You can also catch Joe Thomas as host of "Outdoor America", one of the longest running hunting series on Outdoor Channel.
